How did EYES OF LIGEIA formed and born?

EYES OF LIGEIA was formed in 1998 to channel the essential sadness of existence.  Originally a solo project, the band was expanded in 2005 to a full lineup for live performance and future collaboration. For the composition of music and lyrics, in what EYES OF LIGEIA is based on? The communications of EYES OF LIGEIA are based on Lovecraftian Metaphysics,Starry Wisdom, and Setian gnosis.  The music and words are inseparable in terms of their impact and purpose.  

Which is the difference between the "A fever which would Cling to thee forever"  and your previous  A dirge for the most lovely dead (1999) , The nights Plutoniam Shore (2001) The Untuning of the Sky (2002) What the moon brings(2004) ? The evolution into blacker realms continues, and the possibilities of other worthy magicians are utilized to form as complete a vision as possible of what EYES OF LIGEIA can be.   All works previous to 'What the Moon Brings'are now considered to be demos, and are permanently out of print.  The worthier material from earlier eras will continue to be transformed for future records.  

Which bands are the considered the music influences of EYES OF LIGEIA ? The musical influences of EYES OF LIGEIA are relatively obvious, but are transformed into Dark Art that transcends all of them.  The most mysterious and central inspirations have to be considered BURZUM, THERGOTHON, UNIVERS ZERO, LYCIA, and DISEMBOWELMENT.

Do you know something about the Latin-American  Black Metal Metal scene? Mainly we are familiar with the unholy Sarcofago, and doom bands such as Mythological Cold Towers.  The Latin-American scene is to be respected for not whoring itself out to the entire world in a un-artistic and commercial fashion, as have so many other regional scenes.  

What do you think about Satanism ? Satanism is the beginning of freedom, but is not an end in and of itself.Antinomian iconoclasm is necessary to set oneself apart from the conformant mindset, but the real question is what to do with that newfound freedom.  Satan as a symbol is known to virtually all in modern western culture, but this very familiarity that gives it power also ultimately limits that power.  This is why most with a truly Satanic soul will move beyond rather than stopping merely at the beginning of the Quest.

Are you guys planning to come to Latin America? There are no plans currently, and in order for us to do so a trusted promoter would have to present a compelling touring oppurtunity.  It is far more likely that we would go to Europe first, based on the knowledge and response for EYES OF LIGEIA there.
