La banda thrash BYZANTINE de West Virginia ha colocado como nombre 'Oblivion Beckons' al nuevo album de ellos siendo el tercero ya . tentativamente para salir al mercado en julio del 2007 via Prosthetic Records. Este es el sucesor del enigmatico 2005 ''...And They Shall Take Up Serpents' cual tendra 12 nuevos temas
A cargo de la produccion y grabacion del 'Oblivion Beckons' uan vez mas BYZANTINE tendra a su viejo amigo de muchos años ya el productor Charles A. Fisher, dueño del 101 Productions en Sissonville, WV. Mixing y tendria lugar en los Highview Studios por Drew Mazurek y el album seria masterizado por Alan Douches en los West West Side Music.
BYZANTINE tendra un mes fuera de las grabaciones debido que estan participando del Chains of Humanity tour con God Forbid, Goatwhore, Mnemic y Arsis. Las fechas son als que siguen :
