The band's Here Comes the Pain tour marks their 25th anniversary as a band. It includes a number of US shows in August and September, plus one Canadian date: Toronto's Scotiabank Arena on August 17.
Slipknot have a new drummer, who might look a little familiar to metal fans — and now they're taking him out on the road for a North American tour in late summer

Knocked Loose will open the entire tour. The first half (including the Toronto stop) also features Orbit Culture, while the second half features Vended.
"Every time I've walked on stage, it's never been about how many people have been there because my culture, the maggots, always show up," said Slipknot co-founder Shawn "Clown" Crahan in a statement. "But as we've grown as a band, we have had fewer and fewer of those intimate, personal moments, trading them for massive ones. So we're gonna make it more personal on the anniversary, but how remains to be seen. Just get ready to have your face kicked in. Because we just do what we do, spread that maggot culture – that disease. And you've been infected."
