The album’s title references the historical dispute over the invention of the radio, highlighting Serbian engineer Nikola Tesla, from whom the band takes its name, as the true inventor, as opposed to the credit often given to Italian Guglielmo Marconi. Recorded at Bearsville Studios in Woodstock, New York, the album was produced by Steve Thompson and Michael Barbiero. Musically, it fuses elements of glam metal with blues influences, creating a sound described as “glam metal for a tractor cab: bluesy, denim-clad, and downright wholesome.”

This single, released in March 1990, combines elements of pop metal and southern rock. It peaked at number 55 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 13 on the Mainstream Rock chart. Critics consider it one of the band’s best compositions, thanks to its reflective lyrics and melodic structure.
