Helegardh was born in 2018 and is made up of Ricardo "Rick" Camacho (vocals), Diego "Pankonkezo" (bass), Arzthorius (guitar) and brothers Javier J. Fry (guitar) and Fa (drums).
Inspired by an apocalyptic context, the Chilean band Helegardh presents 'El Día Que Cambió El Mundo', a reflection on a decisive moment for humanity, representing the end of times or a rebirth, a mix of power and energy with a narrative that invites introspection about changes and perspectives.
This lyric video serves as the third preview of what will be the LP "Hasta El Amanecer" and combines AI elements to create a post-apocalyptic world. It is a re-recording both in instrumental quality and production, which reinforces the message and impact of the song that was part of the 2020 EP.
"We seek to offer an energetic experience, in a re-recording that reflects a positive evolution in our sound and musical proposal," says the band. "We want to invite people to reflect and experience music from a different point of view, to shake us up and awaken something in us instead of just distracting us from our existence," adds "Rick" Camacho, vocalist of Helegardh.
The album "Hasta El Amanecer" was recorded and produced during 2023 with different sound engineers and collaborators, where the work done by Gabriel Hidalgo (Six Magics, Sadism) stands out, sharing his experience in guitar amplification. Drums were recorded by Benjamín Opazo from Fidelity Studio; as well as the voices and guitars were recorded by Felipe Morales from Redroom. Finally, the mixing and mastering was done by producer Edu Pereyra from Argentina, known for his work with Andrés Calamaro, Bersuit Vergarabat, Carajo, among others.
