German heavy rockers PLASMAJET are back with a thunderous new single, "Wishes", accompanied by an intense lyric video, marking the second release from their upcoming album "Solastalgia", set to drop on March 14, 2025, via Octopus Rising / Argonauta Records.
After signing with Octopus Rising / Argonauta Records, the band is ready to unveil "Solastalgia", a record shaped by profound emotions and raw energy. Written and recorded during the winter months of 2023/2024, this new chapter reflects the band's evolution after a major lineup change during the COVID-19 pandemic. The result is a collection of powerful, emotive tracks that seamlessly blend stoner rock, metal, and blues-infused heaviness.

Mixing and mastering duties were handled by Martin Giemza (guitarist of German power metal veterans Rebellion), ensuring a rich, immersive sound that pulls the listener into PLASMAJET's distinct universe.

The closing track, "Interstellar Haze", offers a psychedelic escape into a stoner rock galaxy, providing the only respite from the dark themes woven throughout the album.
Formed in 2014 in Giessen, Germany, PLASMAJET quickly made their mark with their distinctive fusion of metal, stoner, and blues-driven rock. Following their 2018 debut United Dementia, the band built a solid reputation through over 75 live performances, sharing the stage with acts like Bushfire, Earthship, Black Space Riders, and Powder for Pigeons.
Despite facing lineup changes, the band's spirit remained unbroken. With the addition of Jannik (guitar) and John (drums) in 2022, PLASMAJET solidified their lineup and embarked on a new creative journey. The result is Solastalgia—an album that encapsulates their resilience, raw energy, and unmistakable sound.
