Rising recording artist Austen Starr unveils Remain Unseen a fresh single accompanied by an official video showcasing his evolving sound and artistic vision.
Rising rocker AUSTEN STARR, recent signee to Frontiers Music Srl, has unveiled her latest single “Remain Unseen” alongside a powerful new music video. With this release, STARR continues to expand her ambitious and emotionally charged musical journey, blending vulnerability with unapologetic rock energy.
AUSTEN STARR comments on "Remain Unseen":
“'Remain Unseen' is a heavier track than my first single, 'I Am the Enemy.' Lyrically, it creates a realistic remix of the fantastical Alice in Wonderland story by tweaking it into an adult situation and giving the beloved protagonist a sinister spin. I’m excited for this song to become part of your summer-to-fall soundtrack! Down the rabbit hole we go!”
On the accompanying video, STARR adds:
“The 'Remain Unseen' video was kept simple and performance-based, but still fast-paced, because it puts more focus on the song itself. It was fun to shoot a video using just the white cyc wall with some lights, amps, and cables after shooting such elaborate scenes for other videos.”
AUSTEN STARR is a reluctant Bostonian with a penchant for self-induced misery. A natural contrarian, she was raised in a household where being a musician was the last thing she was encouraged to do—so, of course, AUSTEN recorded an album with the help of some heavy-hitters from Frontiers and beyond. While AUSTEN considers herself to be an “anxious wreck,” she’s channeled her inner turmoil and contradictions into a compelling musical statement. AUSTEN's penchant for hypocrisy is almost as defined as her narrative voice. After all, she admits both to hating bad grammar and to using it in one of her own songs because it fits the meter. When she’s not rocking out on stage or recording, AUSTEN is learning guitar, embracing "emo karaoke nights," and forging ahead with a relentless, albeit trepidatious, determination to carve out her place in the music world.
