German epic power metal band Aeon Gods return with a myth driven second album arriving February 20 via Scarlet Records.
Epic and myth-driven power metal continues to expand its imaginative reach, and German band Aeon Gods are set to explore new sonic and conceptual territory with their upcoming second album Reborn To Light, scheduled for release on February 20 via Scarlet Records.
As a preview of the record’s cinematic scope, the band has revealed the single and video “Soldiers Of Re,” a dramatic battle driven anthem rooted in ancient Egyptian mythology. The track captures one of the central moments of the album’s narrative, the nightly descent of the sun-god Re into the underworld and the cosmic battle against Apophis, the serpent of chaos. Within this mythic framework, the song unfolds as a powerful hymn of resistance, loyalty and the eternal triumph of light over darkness.
With Reborn To Light, Aeon Gods continue developing a distinctive identity built around mythological storytelling and symphonic heavy metal. The new material blends driving power metal energy with orchestral textures and atmospheric depth, creating a sound that feels both epic and immersive. Across its running time, the album moves between fast-paced anthems, dramatic battle themes and more introspective passages, forming a cohesive narrative inspired by the spiritual and symbolic world of ancient Egypt.
