The Italian symphonic power metal band led by Chiara Tricarico will unveil the new EP “Interstellar Madness” on May 22, continuing their journey within the melodic and symphonic metal scene.
In recent years, Moonlight Haze have steadily established themselves as one of the most recognizable names in modern Italian symphonic power metal. Fronted by vocalist Chiara Tricarico, the band has built its reputation through a combination of melodic songwriting, energetic instrumentation and a strong presence within the European metal circuit.
Beyond her work with Moonlight Haze, Tricarico has also gained international recognition through her collaborations with Avantasia, where she performs as one of the live vocalists. Her association with that project introduced her voice to a broader audience within the melodic and symphonic metal world.
Now the band is preparing to unveil a new chapter with the EP “Interstellar Madness”, scheduled for release on May 22. According to information surrounding the upcoming record, the release explores themes inspired by cosmic imagery and emotional intensity, presenting the idea of “madness” not as chaos but as a deeper and more overwhelming way of experiencing reality.
The EP was produced by Sascha Paeth, known for his work with Avantasia, Angra, Kamelot and Edguy. Mixing and mastering duties were handled by Simone Mularoni at Domination Studio, whose credits include projects involving bands such as Wind Rose, Vision Divine and Twilight Force.
Over the past few years, Moonlight Haze have continued expanding their presence within the international symphonic metal scene. Their music has accumulated millions of streams across digital platforms, while their videos have reached a growing global audience.
The band is also scheduled to appear at Epic Fest 2026 in Denmark, further strengthening their position within the European festival circuit and introducing their music to new audiences across the continent.
The upcoming EP “Interstellar Madness” will include six tracks, among them “Moonlight Legion,” “Lost In Moonlit Symphonies,” “We Are Fire,” “Shine,” the title track “Interstellar Madness”, and its closing piece “Interstellar Madness: Finale.”
With the release approaching on May 22, Moonlight Haze continue moving forward within the symphonic power metal landscape, carrying their melodic approach and expanding the path that has defined the band’s career so far.
