The Italian progressive power metal band returns to its classic sound with the EP A Clockwork Reverie, marking the reunion with vocalist Michele Luppi and keyboardist Oleg Smirnoff.
Italian progressive power metal veterans Vision Divine are entering a new chapter with the upcoming EP “A Clockwork Reverie”, scheduled for release on May 22 via Scarlet Records.
The release marks an important moment for the band, as it follows the return of acclaimed vocalist Michele Luppi and longtime keyboardist Oleg Smirnoff, reuniting key members of the lineup that helped define the band’s signature sound in the progressive and power metal scene.
With “A Clockwork Reverie”, Vision Divine aim to reconnect with the musical identity that first established them as one of the most respected acts in European melodic metal. The EP blends the band’s traditional elements, soaring melodies, technical musicianship and emotional songwriting, with the modern production approach heard in their more recent releases.
The material was produced by Olaf Thorsen and Michele Luppi, mixed by Simone Mularoni and Luppi at Domination Studio, and mastered by Luppi at MiLu’s RockLab II.
The EP also features cover artwork by Augusto Silva, further reinforcing the visual identity surrounding the release.
