The band has now unveiled “The Little Red Rooster”, featuring Dee Snider on lead vocals and Tracii Guns on guitar, offering a powerful reinterpretation of the blues classic.
The track follows the previously released “Back Door Man”, which featured bassist Billy Sheehan and guitarist Eric Gales.
With Temple of the Blues II, Cactus continue to expand their blues-rock foundation through collaborations that bridge generations of rock musicians.
Temple of the Blues II features an impressive lineup including:
Steve Morse (Deep Purple)
Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow, Deep Purple)
Rudy Sarzo (Ozzy Osbourne, Quiet Riot)
Alex Skolnick (Testament)
Ted Nugent
Pat Travers
Bumblefoot
Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater)
Often described as “America’s Led Zeppelin,” Cactus emerged in 1970 from the musical lineage of Vanilla Fudge and Beck, Bogert & Appice, quickly establishing themselves as a powerhouse in blues-based hard rock.
The new album revisits that legacy while pushing forward with a renewed sense of collaboration and energy.
