The hardcore band revisit their origins through a collection of early recordings, including split releases, their debut EP and newly remastered tracks
Incendiary return with Product of New York, a comprehensive compilation that documents the band’s earliest recordings while offering a deeper look into their formative years.
Released via Closed Casket Activities, the collection brings together material spanning the band’s early split 7” releases, their debut Amongst The Filth EP, and previously unreleased recordings, presenting a cohesive overview of the sound and identity that defined their beginnings.
Available across all digital platforms, with vinyl editions scheduled to ship in May, Product of New York serves both as an entry point for new listeners and as a detailed archival release for longtime followers of the band.
Opening the compilation is “Not Your Prophet”, a previously unreleased track recorded during the Change The Way You Think About Pain sessions. According to vocalist Brendan Garrone, the song did not originally fit within the flow of that album, but found its place within this collection as a bridge between past and present.
Garrone explains:
“‘Product of New York’ captures the complete early Incendiary output across multiple split 7"s and our debut 7", ‘Amongst The Filth.’ We wanted to compile the songs that defined this period, many of which are still part of our live sets.”
Across its twelve tracks, the compilation reflects the band’s early development through a variety of recording sessions and collaborators. These include work with Will Putney and Will Yip, as well as sessions at Dead Air Studios with Will Killingsworth and The Hobo House with Phil Douglas.
All material has been remastered by Will Putney, enhancing the overall sound while preserving the raw intensity and directness that characterized the band’s early output.
Rather than functioning as a traditional retrospective, Product of New York presents a clear and unfiltered snapshot of a band in formation, capturing the urgency, aggression and DIY ethos that would later define their full-length releases and live performances.
These recordings highlight the foundation of Incendiary’s identity: direct, confrontational songwriting shaped by real-world experiences and a strong connection to their environment.
