The London band present a new single blending industrial, punk and dark electronic elements ahead of their upcoming album via Spinefarm
London-based band Saint Agnes continue to develop their distinctive sound with the release of “The Ghost”, a new single that expands their blend of industrial textures, punk energy, and dark electronic atmospheres.
The track is part of their upcoming album “Your God Fearing Days Are About To Begin”, set for release on May 29, 2026 via Spinefarm. The record represents a further step in the band’s evolution, combining raw intensity with a more refined and direct sonic approach.
“The Ghost” explores themes of isolation and disconnection, transforming an internal and solitary experience into something physical and collective through rhythm and movement. Built around driving beats and layered textures, the track reflects the band’s ability to merge emotional depth with club-oriented energy.
At the center of the band’s identity is Kitty A. Austen, whose vocal performance and creative direction shape the band’s sound. Alongside Jon James Tufnell, she forms the core of the project, balancing control and experimentation across each release.
Musically, Saint Agnes draw from a wide range of influences, including industrial rock, alternative pop, and electronic music. Elements reminiscent of Nine Inch Nails, Poppy, and Lorde can be traced in their approach, combining intensity with cinematic and atmospheric qualities.
The album was developed with a detailed and controlled production process, with mixing handled by Jim Pinder, whose work includes Sleep Token and Bring Me The Horizon. The result is a sound that emphasizes clarity and impact while preserving the band’s original vision.
With growing momentum built through previous releases, international touring, and festival appearances, Saint Agnes continue to establish their presence within modern alternative and heavy music.
