The Detroit hard rock band introduce their new album via Better Noise Music, featuring a collaboration with In This Moment’s Maria Brink
Detroit hard rock band Eva Under Fire return with “Villainous”, a new single and video that introduces the band’s upcoming studio album of the same name.
Set for release on July 10, 2026 via Better Noise Music, the album continues the band’s trajectory following their 2022 debut, expanding their sound while maintaining a strong emotional and melodic core.
The track “Villainous” features a collaboration with Maria Brink of In This Moment, bringing together two distinct vocal styles that shape the song’s intensity and thematic direction. The interplay between both voices reinforces the track’s focus on empowerment and personal transformation.
Musically, the song blends modern hard rock with industrial elements reminiscent of late ’90s and early 2000s influences, while maintaining a contemporary production approach. The result is a sound that balances aggression with accessibility.
At the center of the band is vocalist Amanda Lyberg, whose background as a licensed therapist informs much of the band’s lyrical direction. Her work explores themes of trauma, recovery, and personal strength, adding depth to the band’s songwriting and overall identity.
The album “Villainous” expands on these ideas, presenting a collection of songs that address internal conflict, resilience, and emotional healing. This direction reflects both personal experiences and a broader connection with listeners.
Beyond the release, Eva Under Fire will join Five Finger Death Punch on their 20th Anniversary World Tour in 2026, further expanding their reach across major venues and audiences.
