The melodic rock artist returns via Frontiers Music with a new album shaped by 80s influences and modern production alongside Danny Rexon
Melodic rock artist Chez Kane continues to develop her sound with the release of her third studio album “Reckless”, a record that builds on her previous work while expanding its scope and identity.
Released on March 27, 2026 via Frontiers Music Srl, the album reflects a combination of classic influences and a more confident artistic direction, shaped through a closer involvement in the songwriting process.
The track “Too Dangerous”, presented alongside a visualizer, introduces the album’s tone through a blend of melodic hooks, guitar-driven arrangements, and a polished production approach. The song explores themes of tension and attraction, balancing restraint with intensity.
Chez Kane describes the track as:
“It captures the tension between warning signs and temptation… where you know better, but it feels too good to resist.”
The album was once again written and produced in collaboration with Danny Rexon, frontman of Crazy Lixx, whose work reinforces the record’s connection to the melodic rock tradition while maintaining a contemporary sound.
“Reckless” follows her previous album “Powerzone” (2022), marking a progression in both songwriting and performance. Across the record, Kane explores a range of styles, from high-energy tracks to more melodic and introspective moments.
Musically, the album draws from the aesthetics of 1980s rock, combining arena-ready choruses, layered vocals, and guitar-driven structures with modern production clarity. The result is a sound that bridges nostalgia and current trends within melodic rock.
