The band compile their four EP installments into a full-length release set for July 10 via Fearless Records
The Plot In You have announced “The Volume Series”, a full-length collection that brings together the band’s previous EP installments into a single release, scheduled for July 10 via Fearless Records.
Rather than presenting new material in isolation, the collection serves as a consolidated body of work, reflecting a period of gradual evolution across multiple releases. The project captures a defined era in the band’s trajectory, unifying songs that were originally introduced in separate stages.
Alongside the announcement, the band have released “You Get One”, a new track accompanied by an official video. The song continues the band’s approach of blending heaviness, electronic elements and melodic structure, maintaining the balance between intensity and atmosphere that has shaped their recent output.
Speaking about the track, vocalist Landon Tewers described it as a reflection on modern society:
“A meditation on current society. Up is down, down is up. Nothing is what it seems… we often forget what it means to be human.”
Over the course of the “Volume” releases, The Plot In You have built a catalogue that combines industrial textures, alternative metal and introspective songwriting, gradually expanding their sound while maintaining a consistent thematic direction.
The compilation arrives after a period of strong digital performance, with the band accumulating hundreds of millions of streams across platforms, reinforcing their presence within the modern alternative and heavy music landscape.
