The Rockum Radio Show returns with another carefully curated selection of heavy metal and hard rock, blending new releases with established names that continue shaping the global scene.
The episode opens with a strong symphonic statement, featuring Visions Of Atlantis and the track “Monsters” from their latest album Pirates II – Armada, setting the tone for a show that moves between modern production and classic metal foundations.
From there, the program transitions into one of the most interesting lineups in recent memory, with Lex Legion and “Sleep Eternally”, bringing together musicians associated with the classic era of King Diamond, including Mikkey Dee, Andy La Rocque, Pete Blakk and Hal Patino, alongside vocalist Nils K. New material from Corrosion Of Conformity follows with “Asleep On The Killing Floor”, part of their upcoming double album Good God / Baad Man. The segment continues with Frozen Soul and “Invoke War”, showcasing the band’s continued rise within the modern death metal scene.
A return to Latin American roots arrives with Transmetal and “El Infierno de Dante”, followed by Six Feet Under and “Unmistakable Smell of Death”, bringing together Chris Barnes and Jack Owen in a lineup that connects decades of extreme metal history. Originally aired on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 9 to 11 PM, the Rockum Radio Show continues a legacy that traces back to Rockum Radio Station, launched in 2004 as part of Rockumweb.com, originally founded in 2002.
