The multi-platinum band unveil a new single and video as their sixth studio album arrives May 1
Multi-platinum band Young the Giant have released their new single “Already There”, accompanied by an official music video, as they prepare for the release of their upcoming album “Victory Garden”, due on May 1.
Produced by Brendan O’Brien alongside the band, and written collectively, the track reflects a continued collaborative approach within the group’s current creative cycle.
“Already There” centers on themes of distance and emotional connection, exploring the tension between physical separation and intimacy.
The band describe the song as a reflection on relationships that exist across distance, where presence and absence coexist within the same emotional space.
The upcoming “Victory Garden” marks the band’s sixth full-length album and follows “American Bollywood” (2022).
The material was developed through collaborative writing sessions, with the band working together across locations such as Idyllwild and Joshua Tree, before final production at Henson Studios in Hollywood.
The album is described as being rooted in radical empathy, shaping both its lyrical and musical direction.
The release follows “Bitter Fruit” and “Different Kind Of Love”, the latter debuting as the #1 most-added track at Alternative Radio and reaching the Top 10.
