The band’s new album of covers will be released July 17 via Frontiers Music Srl
Tesla have announced their new album “Homage”, scheduled for release on July 17, 2026 via Frontiers Music Srl, and have shared their version of “I Love You”, originally recorded by Climax Blues Band.
The track is presented as part of a collection that reflects the band’s musical influences and early development.
“Homage” is structured as a covers album, featuring songs associated with artists including Elvis Presley, Queen, The Temptations, Bob Seger, James Brown, Supertramp, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Etta James.
The album also includes one original composition, “Never Alone”.
According to the band, the project reflects their early years performing cover material, a foundation that would later lead to albums such as The Great Radio Controversy, which remains one of the band’s defining releases.
The track “I Love You” is presented as a reinterpretation of the original song by Climax Blues Band, accompanied by an official video.
This release follows more recent material such as the All About Love EP cycle, which included tracks like “All About Love” and the instrumental “From the Heart”, expanding the band’s output in recent years.
