Soulfly have released an animated video for “Favela / Dystopia”, a track taken from their latest album “Chama”.
The release forms part of the album’s ongoing cycle, which has been documented through multiple singles and developments, beginning with tracks such as “Storm the Gates” and continuing with “Nihilist”.
The animated video was created by Matt Creeptoon and presents a visual interpretation inspired by life in Brazilian favelas, aligning with the track’s thematic direction.

“Chama” was recorded at Platinum Underground Studio in Mesa, Arizona by John Aquilino.
The album was produced by Zyon Cavalera and Arthur Rizk, with Rizk also responsible for mixing and mastering.
The project also includes guest appearances from Dino Cazares (Fear Factory) and Todd Jones (Nails).
