The new album arrives May 8 via Century Media as the band hit the road and preview their latest material
Frozen Soul have released the single and video “Deathweaver” ahead of their upcoming album “No Place Of Warmth”, scheduled for release on May 8 via Century Media Records, as the band begin their U.S. tour.
According to vocalist Chad Green, “Deathweaver” explores the gradual transformation of identity through life experiences, addressing themes of memory, personal change, and the cycle of life and death.
The accompanying video follows a narrative built around a character constructing an instrument from the remains of victims, drawing from visual influences including anime and horror aesthetics.
“No Place Of Warmth” will be the band’s third full-length studio album and was produced by Josh Schroeder.
The album presents a collection of eleven tracks shaped around themes of struggle and perseverance, reflecting the band’s continued development following earlier releases.
Guest appearances on the album include Gerard Way (My Chemical Romance), Devin Swank (Sanguisugabogg), and Rob Flynn (Machine Head).
Formed in Texas, Frozen Soul have built their profile through releases including “Crypt Of Ice” (2021) and “Glacial Domination” (2023), alongside extensive touring activity.
Their early period and the release of “Crypt Of Ice” were previously discussed in Frozen Soul’s Chad Green on Crypt of Ice – Interview with Gino Alache, where the band reflected on their initial momentum.
More recently, the band’s material has also been featured on Gino Alache’s Rockum Radio Show, connecting their current output with ongoing programming.
