The band’s eleventh studio album arrives July 10 via Napalm Records as North American tour begins in August
DevilDriver have announced their new album “Strike and Kill”, scheduled for release on July 10 via Napalm Records, alongside the release of the lead single and video “Dig Your Own Grave”.
“Dig Your Own Grave” serves as the opening track of the album and introduces its direction through a combination of aggressive riffing and lyrical themes centered on the consequences of personal decisions.
According to vocalist Dez Fafara, the song addresses how a single action can alter the course of events, impacting both the individual and others.
“Strike and Kill” is the band’s eleventh full-length studio album and follows “Dealing With Demons Vols. 1 & 2”.
The album features a lineup consisting of Dez Fafara, guitarists Alex Lee and Gabe Mangold, drummer Davier Ortega Perez, and the return of bassist Jon Miller.
The material combines elements associated with the band’s sound, including groove-driven structures, melodic passages, and atmospheric layers, as presented throughout the album’s tracklist.
