Voïvod Announce 'Symphonique' Live Release and Share 'Forgotten In Space (Symphonique)' Ahead of 2026 European Tour

Canadian progressive metal innovators Voïvod have announced their new live release “Symphonique”, scheduled for release on June 5, 2026 via Century Media Records, alongside the first single “Forgotten In Space (Symphonique)”. The album was recorded live on June 4, 2025 at the Grand Théâtre in Québec City, Canada, in collaboration with the Quebec Symphony Orchestra.

The release follows the orchestral performance previously covered by Rockum in Voïvod Delivers Epic Orchestral Performance With Quebec Symphony, now taking shape as a full live album.

The first preview from the album is “Forgotten In Space (Symphonique)”, presented through a visualizer created by Cloud Motion Design. According to bassist Dominic “Rocky” Laroche, the piece draws from the band’s “Killing Technology” era and was orchestrated by Hugo Bégin, expanding the original song through a full orchestral arrangement.

“Symphonique” features a twelve-song set running 73 minutes and 24 seconds, combining Voïvod’s catalog with symphonic arrangements. Drummer and founding member Michel “Away” Langevin described the album as the realization of a longtime idea connected to the band’s interest in cinematic and science-fiction atmospheres.

The artwork for the release was created by Michel “Away” Langevin. The album will be available on CD, 2LP, and digital formats.

“Symphonique” follows “Synchro Anarchy” (2022), a Juno Award-winning studio album, and the band’s 40th anniversary release “Morgöth Tales” (2023).
