Pro-Pain Release 'Scorched Earth' Lyric Video and Announce 'Stone Cold Anger' Album After 11-Year Hiatus

New York hardcore band Pro-Pain have released the lyric video for their new single “Scorched Earth”, taken from their upcoming album “Stone Cold Anger”, scheduled for release on May 15 via Napalm Records.

“Scorched Earth” is presented as the third single from the album and explores themes of pressure, frustration, and the consequences that emerge when individuals are pushed to their limits.

According to Gary Meskil, the song examines how prolonged tension and a sense of powerlessness can build over time, leading to a demand for accountability.

“Stone Cold Anger” is the band’s sixteenth studio album and their first release in 11 years.

The album also marks the band’s debut on Napalm Records and features the return of guitarist Eric Klinger.

The material is described by the band as shaped by global tension and a broader sense of unrest, reflecting themes of accountability and social pressure.
