The Belgian alt-rock band will release their six-track mini album May 22, 2026
Belgian alternative rock band The Roost have released their new single and music video “Miss You Every Day”, offering a first preview of their upcoming mini album “Black Mountain”, scheduled for release on May 22, 2026.
“Miss You Every Day” centers on the emotional distance that can develop within a relationship, exploring moments when communication breaks down and connection begins to fade.
The track presents a contrast between restrained verses and more expansive melodic passages, reflecting the tension and unresolved emotions described in its lyrics.
“Black Mountain” will be released as a six-track mini album and represents a new phase for the band following their recent activity within the Belgian music scene.
The record is introduced through “Miss You Every Day,” which sets the tone for the material through a balance of melodic structure and heavier instrumental elements.
The single was mixed by Stefan Boman, known for his work with artists such as Ghost, The Hives, and The Hellacopters.
The Roost emerged from the 2026 festival circuit in Belgium, where they were recognized as winners of Arc-en-Musique.
Their sound combines elements of alternative rock with a balance between heavier guitar-driven passages and melodic songwriting.
Following the release of “Miss You Every Day,” The Roost introduce the direction of “Black Mountain,” continuing their development with new material ahead of the upcoming release.
