The Swedish band continue building momentum in 2026 with their latest single via Threeman Recordings and Sound Pollution
Swedish band Bloodstain have released their new single “Something Sinister” via Threeman Recordings and Sound Pollution, marking their second release of 2026 as they move toward their debut full-length album, expected later this year.
“Something Sinister” continues to define the band’s direction, built around structured riffs, dynamic progression, and a balance between classic influences and modern production.
The track reflects the band’s approach to combining heavier elements with accessible songwriting, maintaining consistency across arrangement and performance.
Formed in 2023 in Stockholm, Bloodstain developed their sound through early releases and live activity, including their debut EP “I Am Death”.
Their activity expanded in 2024, when a performance in Stockholm led to a collaboration with Threeman Recordings, involving guitarist Alex Hellid.
During 2025, the band increased their presence through festival appearances and support shows, including touring activity alongside Dark Tranquillity.
The band’s debut full-length album is scheduled for release in Fall 2026, with “Something Sinister” serving as part of the material leading into that release.
