The band’s new album arrives July 17 via Fireflash Records, continuing their traditional heavy metal legacy
American heavy metal band Ruthless have released their new single “Curse Of The Beast”, the title track from their upcoming album, scheduled for release on July 17, 2026 via Fireflash Records.
The track is presented alongside a lyric video and marks the first preview of the new full-length.
“Curse Of The Beast” is based on a narrative centered on transformation and duality.
According to vocalist Sammy DeJohn, the song tells the story of a man who becomes a werewolf at night, living between two states and dealing with the consequences of his actions.
“Curse Of The Beast” continues the band’s approach to traditional heavy metal, maintaining elements associated with their earlier work.
The album was recorded with producer Ron Sandoval, who also handled mixing and mastering.
It follows the band’s recent releases, including “The Fallen” (2024), which marked their return with Fireflash Records.

Formed in the early 1980s, Ruthless have remained active within the traditional heavy metal scene, beginning with releases such as “Metal Without Mercy” (1984) and “Discipline Of Steel” (1986).
