Devil’s Cut have released their new single and video “Drop Dead (End)”, taken from their debut album “Roadkill”, scheduled for release on April 24, 2026 via MNRK Heavy.

The track follows earlier releases from the album, continuing the band’s rollout ahead of the full-length.

“Drop Dead (End)” combines elements of metalcore with industrial textures, alongside melodic structures influenced by country music.

The track is described by vocalist Trey Landrum as a high-energy composition intended for both live performance and audience participation.

The video was directed by Zabb.

“Roadkill” is the band’s debut full-length album and includes a mix of heavier tracks and more introspective material.

It was produced by Evan McKeever and incorporates additional instrumentation elements such as lap steel, mandolin, and banjo within its arrangements.

The album follows previous singles including:
“Drink With The Devil”
“Roadkill” (title track)

Devil’s Cut combine heavy riffs with country-influenced vocal delivery, creating a hybrid style sometimes referred to as “Mossy Oak metal”, reflecting their Kentucky roots.

Their material draws from both metal and country traditions, incorporating elements from each without fully aligning with a single genre.

The band formed following a collaboration between vocalist Trey Landrum and drummer Cody Ash, who later became their manager.

Their early releases included a cover of “Tequila” and the track “Insomnia”, which gained traction online.

For “Roadkill”, the band relocated temporarily to Nashville and worked with multiple co-writers, including:

Cody Quistad
Serg Sanchez
Kile Odell
Jordan Centers

The material was developed throughout this period, combining different influences and approaches.
