BENTHOS have released an acoustic version of “Dissolving Flowers”, originally featured on their debut album “II”.

The new version presents a reinterpretation of the album’s closing track, reconnecting the band’s earlier material with their current musical direction.

“Dissolving Flowers (Acoustic Version)” was performed and recorded live in a studio in northern Italy, focusing on a stripped-down arrangement built around classical and acoustic instrumentation.

The track features:
Classical and acoustic guitars
Fretless bass
Light percussion

Vocalist Gabriele Landillo also performs on the viola da gamba, an early bowed string instrument, integrating a historical element into the arrangement.

The band describes the reinterpretation as a return to the song’s original acoustic foundation, expanding it through a live studio performance approach.

The original version of “Dissolving Flowers” appeared as the closing track on “II”, the band’s debut album.

This acoustic reinterpretation highlights the underlying structure of the composition, presenting a more intimate version while maintaining its core identity.

Following “II”, the band released:
“From Nothing”

The album expanded their sound through a combination of progressive metal, experimental structures, and layered compositions, including tracks such as:
“As A Cordyceps”
“Pure”
“Fossil”
“Let Me Plunge”
