The Australian band introduce new material while preparing for their first North American headline run and a Sonic Temple appearance
WINDWAKER have released their new single “click.”, featuring RinRin, marking their first new material of 2026.
The track arrives alongside an official video and continues the band’s current recording cycle following their recent releases.
“click.” centers on themes tied to digital culture, particularly the relationship between visibility, privacy, and constant online exposure.
The band describes the song as a reflection of a world where personal moments are increasingly shared and consumed, raising questions about identity and authenticity in a connected environment.
Musically, the track incorporates electronic elements alongside guitar-driven sections, combining industrial-inspired textures with melodic vocal lines. The collaboration with RinRin developed in the studio through a shared writing process, resulting in a joint contribution to both the concept and structure of the song.
RinRin’s involvement adds an additional vocal layer that complements the track’s thematic direction and sonic contrast.
Following the release of “HYPERVIOLENCE” in 2024 via Fearless Records, WINDWAKER expanded the record in 2025 with the “HYPERVIOLENCE EXPANSION PACK,” adding new material and extending the project’s scope.
The band has been steadily building its catalog over the years, including earlier material such as “Left In The Dark”, which was covered by Rockum at the time, documenting an earlier stage of their evolution leading into their current cycle.
The band also toured North America in support of Northlane, marking their first exposure to U.S. audiences prior to their upcoming headline run.
