The new single expands the band’s upcoming album via Fearless Records as their co-headline tour with The Amity Affliction continues
AUGUST BURNS RED have presented the official video for “Sonic Salvation”, featuring Jamie Hails of Polaris, continuing the rollout for their upcoming album “Season of Surrender”.
The album will arrive via Fearless Records, marking the band’s return to the label and further expanding a release cycle previously covered by Rockum in August Burns Red Share “The Nameless” and Reveal “Season of Surrender” Album.
“Sonic Salvation” introduces a direction that leans into the band’s hardcore influences while maintaining their established structure built around breakdowns, melodic passages, and dynamic vocal delivery.
Guitarist JB Brubaker described the track as one of the earliest compositions for the album, designed to create more space for the vocal approach while integrating heavier rhythmic elements.
Vocalist Jake Luhrs adds that the song reflects the role of music as a source of strength and connection, addressing its ability to shape identity and provide a sense of grounding.
The video incorporates direct fan participation, featuring listeners performing and engaging with the track, reinforcing the connection between AUGUST BURNS RED and their audience.
“Season of Surrender” includes multiple guest appearances that extend the album’s scope, including Mike Hranica (The Devil Wears Prada) and contributions from Make Them Suffer.
