The Finnish heavy metal band celebrate a decade with a new animated video from their latest album
WISHING WELL have presented the official video for “Train Of Thoughts,” a track taken from their latest album “Playing With Fire,” released in March.
The release coincides with the band’s tenth anniversary, marking a decade of activity since their debut album “Chasing Rainbows” in 2016.
“Train Of Thoughts” stands as the fastest track on “Playing With Fire,” leading the band to expand it with a visual component through animation.
According to guitarist Anssi Korkiakoski, the decision to create a video came from the intention to reinforce the track’s impact, using a format that allows for a broader creative scope.
The video was illustrated and animated by Natalia miechowicz, whose previous work includes projects for Uriah Heep, Dokken, and Motörhead.
The visual concept follows the band traveling aboard a train across different environments, moving through landscapes that shift from northern regions into abstract and space-oriented imagery, reflecting the flexibility offered by animation as a medium.
