The six-piece melodic metal project develops its dynamic approach, combining atmosphere and intensity following its first release
JÛN have released their second single, “The Endless Horizon”, following the debut track “Inception of Isolation” earlier this year.
Originally formed around the compositions of guitarists Jukka Keskinen and Marko Männikkö, JÛN expanded in 2025 into a six-piece lineup of experienced musicians from across Finland.
The band blends melodic metal foundations with a heavier and more aggressive edge, moving between direct, crushing sections and atmospheric, winding passages.
“The Endless Horizon” begins in a restrained and melodic space before gradually building into full-speed intensity, reflecting the band’s focus on dynamic songwriting.
According to drummer Mikko Orava, the debut single introduced the band’s softer side, while “The Endless Horizon” grows into more extreme metal proportions. He also connects the song’s shifting time signatures with its intergalactic theme.
The track keeps melody and atmosphere at the center of the arrangement, even as it moves into faster and heavier territory.

With “The Endless Horizon,” JÛN continue shaping an identity based on contrast, where melody, atmosphere, and heavier structures remain part of the same direction.
