The new single reinterprets a track from the 2025 double album, presenting a rearranged version with new elements and updated production
Lunatic Soul have released the new single “Ardour (Reimagined Version)” via InsideOutMusic, presenting a reworked interpretation of a track originally featured on the band’s eighth studio album “The World Under Unsun” (2025).
The original version of “Ardour” formed part of the album’s broader conceptual framework, while the new version introduces a revised arrangement that shifts the emphasis of the composition.
“Ardour (Reimagined Version)” is a fully rearranged version of the original track, incorporating additional vocals and instrumental layers alongside a new mix and master.
According to Mariusz Duda, the song addresses the concept of artistic creation, describing it as a process where contrasting elements interact. While the album version emphasized darker tonalities, the reimagined version moves toward a brighter and more open sonic direction.
The track reflects a transition in approach, presenting the material through an altered perspective while maintaining its thematic core.
“The World Under Unsun” is a double album containing 14 tracks across nearly 90 minutes of music. It was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Magda and Robert Srzedniccy at Serakos Studio in Warsaw, Poland.

Following the release of “The World Under Unsun”, Mariusz Duda confirmed that his long-standing involvement with Riverside has come to an end after 25 years.
He will now focus primarily on Lunatic Soul and related projects, with the project entering a new phase as his main studio and live outlet.
With “Ardour (Reimagined Version),” Lunatic Soul revisit material from “The World Under Unsun” through a revised perspective, extending the album’s cycle while outlining a shift in direction.
