The Swedish melodic hard rock band present a 16-track live release capturing material from ‘Kids In A Ghost Town’ and ‘Teenage Rebel’ ahead of 2026 festival appearances
Nestor have announced their first live album, “Live At Gothenburg Film Studios”, scheduled for release on August 14 via Napalm Records.
Originally formed in 1989, the band returned with new material in 2021, releasing their debut album “Kids In A Ghost Town”, which received a Swedish Hard Rock/Metal Grammis nomination. Their follow-up album “Teenage Rebel” (2024) reached multiple international charts, including #12 on the Official German Album Charts and #19 in Sweden.
“Live At Gothenburg Film Studios” documents the band’s live performances, presenting material from across their catalog in a concert setting.
The album includes live versions of tracks such as “Firesign” (from “Kids In A Ghost Town”, 2021), “Teenage Rebel” (from the 2024 album of the same name), and “On The Run”, among others drawn from the band’s repertoire.
According to vocalist Tobias Gustavsson, the recording captures a live performance with its natural imperfections, reflecting a less controlled and more direct representation compared to studio releases.
The release is also available with a video component, extending the live documentation beyond audio.
