The second single introduces the upcoming album while pre-orders begin across multiple formats
Stormkeep have released the new single “Imperious Sanguine Eroticism”, offering a second preview of their upcoming album “The Nocturnes Of Iswylm”.
The release follows the previously unveiled track “Carnal Tapestries Of Nailtorn Flesh”, continuing the presentation of the band’s second full-length record while pre-orders for the album are now available.
Founded in Denver, Colorado in 2017, Stormkeep established their presence with the “Galdrum” EP (2020), followed by the debut album “Tales Of Othertime” (2021), which expanded their conceptual framework and positioned the band within the contemporary symphonic black metal scene.
“Imperious Sanguine Eroticism” continues the thematic and musical direction introduced on the album, presenting another segment of the narrative developed by the band.
The track reflects the group’s approach to composition, combining structured arrangements with an emphasis on atmosphere and continuity within the album’s broader conceptual setting.
“The Nocturnes Of Iswylm” continues the narrative first introduced on “Tales Of Othertime”, expanding the band’s world-building approach through a cohesive conceptual structure.
The album was produced by the band together with Michael Zech, whose previous work includes Secrets Of The Moon, Dark Fortress, and The Ruins Of Beverast, and mastered by Arthur Rizk, known for work with Blood Incantation, Power Trip, and Worm.
The cover artwork was created by Simon Bisley, with additional artwork by Valnoir, whose credits include Ulver, Paradise Lost, and Amorphis.
