The German modern metal band continue the rollout surrounding their upcoming Napalm Records release while announcing headline dates across Europe
Dominum have unveiled the official video for “Doctor Doctor”, the second single from the upcoming album “Night Is Calling”, scheduled for release on July 3 through Napalm Records.
The track follows the previously released single “The Circus Is In Town” and continues the band’s theatrical horror-oriented modern metal direction.
Led by vocalist Felix Heldt, also known as Dr. Dead, Dominum previously reached the German Top 10 charts with the 2024 album “The Dead Don’t Die”.
The group has additionally toured alongside artists including Bruce Dickinson, Avantasia, Battle Beast, and Peyton Parrish.
According to Dr. Dead, “Doctor Doctor” explores themes involving emotional dependency, obsession, and destructive relationships through the metaphor of illness and treatment.
Musically, the song combines heavier riff structures with melodic choruses and theatrical arrangements associated with the band’s horror-inspired visual identity.
The accompanying video expands the narrative surrounding the song through cinematic imagery tied to the band’s undead-themed universe.
Produced by Felix Heldt and mixed by producer Jacob Hansen, “Night Is Calling” expands the band’s sound with heavier arrangements, larger melodic structures, and more cinematic production elements.
The album also includes a guest appearance from Battle Beast on the title track “Night Is Calling”.
Additional songs include “Nosferatu”, “Jack The Ripper”, and a cover version of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”.
Selected editions additionally include the bonus release “Live at Wacken 2025”.
