The Swedish metal band begin a new album cycle through RPM while continuing the momentum established on ‘We Shall Remain’ and ‘We Stand United’
ELEINE have returned with the new single “Empire Of Lies”, the first release connected to the band’s upcoming studio album scheduled for release on December 4 through RPM.
The song introduces a new chapter for the Swedish metal band following the releases of “We Shall Remain” (2023) and the EP “We Stand United” (2025), continuing the combination of symphonic arrangements, melodic hooks, and heavier modern metal structures that have increasingly defined the group’s sound.

According to founding members Madeleine Liljestam and Rikard Ekberg, “Empire Of Lies” addresses themes involving deception, manipulation, and the eventual collapse of structures built on falsehood.
Musically, the track combines aggressive riffing, rhythmic intensity, orchestral textures, and melodic vocal passages associated with the band’s modern symphonic metal direction.
The group additionally described the song as intentionally energetic and rhythmically varied, built around a chorus designed for audience participation during future live performances.
The official music video is scheduled to premiere on May 11 at 18:00 CEST through the band’s official channels.
Founded in Sweden by vocalist Madeleine Liljestam and guitarist/vocalist Rikard Ekberg, ELEINE have gradually established a distinct position within contemporary symphonic and melodic metal through a balance of orchestral arrangements, modern production, and darker lyrical themes.
The band’s growing touring activity accelerated following the release of “We Shall Remain”, leading to European tours alongside Nightwish, Ensiferum, Pain, and Primal Fear, as well as the group’s first extensive headline tours across Europe.
Throughout recent releases, the band has increasingly focused on themes connected to resilience, empowerment, emotional struggle, and unity, elements that continue into the lyrical framework of “Empire Of Lies”.
