The Texas hard rock band unveil a new anthem of resilience ahead of their upcoming Mascot Records release arriving in October 2026
Kingdom Collapse have announced the new studio album “Survivor”, scheduled for release on October 30, 2026 through Mascot Records, while simultaneously unveiling the official video for the album’s title track.
The San Antonio hard rock band continue building on the momentum generated by previous singles including “Uprise” and “Unbreakable”, combining modern hard rock hooks, emotionally driven songwriting, and themes centered on perseverance and personal struggle.
According to vocalist Jonathan Norris, the lyrics for “Survivor” were inspired by periods of loss, trauma, and adversity experienced throughout his life.
Norris explained that those experiences ultimately shaped his identity and became central to the message behind the song.
Bassist Aaron Smith additionally described the track as an anthem about confronting challenges through optimism and resilience, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a fighting mentality during difficult periods.
Musically, the song continues the band’s combination of modern hard rock heaviness, melodic choruses, and emotionally direct songwriting designed for large live audiences.
“Survivor” marks the band’s first full-length album following their signing with Mascot Records in 2025.
The release follows the independently issued “Unbreakable” EP from 2022, which helped establish Kingdom Collapse within modern active rock radio and streaming platforms.
The band’s breakthrough single “Uprise” accumulated more than five million Spotify streams, while “Unbreakable” surpassed eleven million streams and reached the top position on Octane.

Kingdom Collapse originated through the longtime friendship between vocalist Jonathan Norris and bassist Aaron Smith, who grew up together in Texas and bonded through music following the death of Norris’ father during childhood.
Music eventually became both an emotional outlet and the foundation for the band itself, with Norris later describing Kingdom Collapse as a continuation of that experience and a source of hope built through adversity.
The lineup was completed by guitarist David Work and drummer Gaston Flores, with the group later touring extensively alongside acts including Three Days Grace, Nothing More, From Ashes To New, Fire From The Gods, ATTACK ATTACK!, and Adelitas Way.
