The Italian band led by vocalist Chiara Tricarico continue the rollout surrounding their upcoming Scarlet Records release
Moonlight Haze have unveiled the new single and official video “Interstellar Madness”, the title track from the band’s upcoming EP scheduled for release on May 22, 2026 through Scarlet Records.
The release continues the promotional cycle surrounding the Italian symphonic power metal band’s fifth studio work and further expands the theatrical and cinematic direction introduced through previous singles.
Rockum previously covered the EP announcement in Moonlight Haze and Chiara Tricarico Return with the Symphonic Power Metal EP 'Interstellar Madness', followed by Moonlight Haze Share 'Moonlight Legion' Video and Announce 'Interstellar Madness' EP and Moonlight Haze Release 'Shine' as Second Single From 'Interstellar Madness' EP.
The band additionally appeared earlier this year in At The Gates, Amberian Dawn, Atreyu and Moonlight Haze Featured on Gino Alache's Rockum Radio Show.
According to vocalist Chiara Tricarico, the song explores emotional intensity, introspection, and the overwhelming experience of confronting hidden parts of the self through artistic expression.
Musically, the track combines long instrumental passages, choir arrangements, symphonic textures, and melodic power metal structures, reflecting what the band describes as some of the most epic songwriting in their catalog to date.
The official video accompanies the release and reinforces the cosmic and emotional themes surrounding the EP.
Produced by Sascha Paeth, recognized for work with Avantasia, Angra, Kamelot, and Edguy, the EP was mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni at Domination Studio.

The release additionally continues Moonlight Haze’s growth within the European symphonic and melodic power metal scene, with the band surpassing ten million combined streams across major digital platforms and accumulating more than five million YouTube views.
Frontwoman Chiara Tricarico additionally remains active as one of the live vocalists for Avantasia and previously appeared on Manowar’s 2022 release “Highlights From The Revenge Of Odysseus”.
