KISS, one of the most iconic and theatrical rock bands of all time, rolled out an ambitious schedule of releases to celebrate four decades of music and their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The celebration focuses heavily on physical media, especially vinyl, underscoring the band’s deep connection with collectors and audiophiles around the world.

Universal Music kick-started the festivities by issuing the first wave of remastered KISS albums on March 31, presenting ten classic records pressed on 180-gram vinyl. An additional eighteen titles arrived in the first half of the year, giving longtime fans the opportunity to revisit the band’s essential catalog with upgraded sound and packaging.

In May, listeners were treated to KISS 40, a two-disc compilation that includes a track from every official studio album, select live cuts and a previously unreleased 1977 demo. The compilation serves as a career-spanning snapshot of the band’s evolution, from their raw early years to their polished arena dominance.

The crown jewel of the anniversary campaign, however, is Kissteria – The Ultimate Vinyl Road Case, a premium box set containing thirty-four LPs, including previously unavailable vinyl editions and six exclusive albums. The release also includes a wide array of collectible items and extras, making it one of the most extravagant vinyl packages ever created by a major rock act. Kissteria was offered exclusively through pre-order at kissteria .kissonline .com, reinforcing its status as a high-end collector’s piece.

After forty years of explosive live performances, elaborate makeup, merchandising innovations and cultural influence, KISS have cemented their place in rock history. Anthems such as “Detroit Rock City,” “Love Gun,” “Beth,” “Rock and Roll All Nite,” “Psycho Circus” and “I Was Made for Lovin’ You” remain staples across generations, and their legacy continues to inspire new listeners.

With this anniversary campaign, the band not only celebrates their past but also pays tribute to the dedicated global fanbase that helped transform KISS from a local New York curiosity into one of the most recognizable brands in music history.
