The American melodic hard rock veterans revisit more than four decades of music through newly remixed classics, later-era material, and rare bonus recordings
Night Ranger have announced the upcoming release of a new career-spanning compilation titled “Best Of”, scheduled for release on August 28, 2026 through Frontiers Music Srl.
The collection brings together newly remixed and remastered versions of many of the band’s best-known songs alongside material drawn from their later studio albums, reflecting both the classic and modern eras of the group.
To coincide with the announcement, the band additionally released a newly remastered version of “Don’t Tell Me You Love Me (2026)” accompanied by an official visualizer video.
Rather than functioning strictly as a retrospective focused only on the band’s 1980s success, “Best Of” also highlights the continued activity and songwriting evolution of Night Ranger across the last two decades.
Classic material including:
“Sister Christian”
“Don’t Tell Me You Love Me”
“(You Can Still) Rock in America”
“When You Close Your Eyes”
appears alongside more recent songs such as:
“High Road”
“Time of Our Lives”
“Truth”
“Somehow Someway”
The release additionally includes bonus material featuring a live studio version of “Wasted Time” recorded at Sweetwater Studios, as well as a live performance of “Feliz Navidad.”

Emerging from the American hard rock scene during the early 1980s, Night Ranger became one of the defining melodic hard rock bands of the MTV era through albums combining arena rock hooks, strong vocal harmonies, and technically driven guitar work.
Songs such as “Sister Christian,” “Don’t Tell Me You Love Me,” and “(You Can Still) Rock in America” helped establish the band internationally while maintaining a lasting presence across rock radio and touring circuits for more than four decades.
With “Best Of,” Night Ranger revisit the major moments of their catalog while also acknowledging the band’s continued recording activity beyond their classic 1980s period, presenting a broader overview of a career that has remained active across multiple generations of melodic hard rock.
