Carnal Forge Announce First-Time Vinyl Pressing of 'Please... Die!' and Reissue 'Firedemon'

CARNAL FORGE have announced new vinyl reissues of two key albums from their early catalog: “Firedemon” and “Please... Die!”. The releases are scheduled for October 16, 2026 through M-Theory Audio, officially licensed from Century Media Records.

The reissues revisit a formative period in the Swedish band’s history, when Carnal Forge were establishing their identity through a combination of thrash metal aggression, death metal intensity, and the precision that marked several extreme metal releases from Sweden during the late 1990s and early 2000s.

Originally released in 2000, “Firedemon” was the band’s second studio album and helped define the faster and more aggressive side of Carnal Forge’s early sound. The new edition will be pressed on Pure Torture Red Vinyl, limited to 300 copies, and will include an expanded insert with personal liner notes.

Released in 2001, “Please... Die!” followed one year later and pushed the band further into the high-speed thrash/death metal direction that became associated with their early 2000s period. The album includes tracks such as “Hand Of Doom” and “Welcome To Your Doomsday.” This reissue marks the album’s first-ever vinyl pressing and will arrive on Funeral Blue Colored Vinyl, also limited to 300 copies with an expanded insert and personal liner notes.

Formed in 1997, Carnal Forge became part of the Swedish extreme metal movement that emerged in the wake of the country’s influential death metal and melodic death metal scenes. While the band carried traces of that Swedish background, their early work leaned strongly into thrash-driven speed, sharp riffing, and a more direct sense of aggression.

The reissues place renewed focus on the band’s early Century Media era, a period that helped connect Carnal Forge to the international metal underground and to a generation of listeners following the heavier edge of Swedish metal at the turn of the millennium.

Guitarist Jari Kuusisto reflected on the period as one shaped by youth, ambition, touring, and the band’s shared commitment to making heavy music. He also acknowledged late guitarist Lars Lindén, who passed away in 2025, noting that the reissues bring back many memories from the years surrounding those albums.

The history around Carnal Forge also connects to several other Swedish metal projects. Members associated with the band have been linked over the years to acts including Scar Symmetry, In Thy Dreams, World Below, Steel Attack, Dellamorte, Rosicrucian, Slapdash, and Centinex.

Vocalist and producer Jonas Kjellgren has also worked behind the scenes as an engineer and mastering figure for artists including Sabaton, Hypocrisy, Immortal, and Overkill. Meanwhile, founding guitarist Jari Kuusisto has continued working within heavy music, including activity with Swedish death metal band Farsoth.
