Cattle Decapitation Share 'Dead End Residents' Video as 'Terrasite' Cycle Comes to a Close

CATTLE DECAPITATION have released the official video for “Dead End Residents”, taken from their 2023 full-length album “Terrasite.” Directed by Nox Nohi, the video arrives after the band’s 30 Years Of Inhumanity headlining tour and serves as the final visual piece connected to the album before attention shifts toward new material.

The footage was captured during the band’s European tour last year, together with additional material from the No Fear For Tomorrow tour. According to vocalist Travis Ryan, the release works as a farewell to the “Terrasite” era before the group enters a short period of focused writing for its next full-length album.

Ryan confirmed that Cattle Decapitation are already several songs into the writing process and are scheduled to enter the studio in January. The follow-up to “Terrasite” is currently planned for release in 2027.

Released in 2023, “Terrasite” continued the band’s long-running exploration of ecological collapse, human destruction, and extreme metal intensity. The album entered several Billboard charts during its first week, reaching No. 2 on the Current Hard Music Albums chart, No. 3 on the Current Independent Albums chart, and No. 4 on the Rock Albums chart.

The record was produced by Dave Otero, known for his work with Cephalic Carnage and Allegaeon. Its artwork was created by longtime collaborator Wes Benscoter, whose credits include Vader, Kreator, Bloodbath, and Hypocrisy. The album also includes piano and synth contributions from Dis Pater of Midnight Odyssey.
