The North Carolina progressive metal band continue their recent creative cycle through Nuclear Blast Records after the releases of 'Spotlight' and 'Phantom :: Phoenix'
STELLAR CIRCUITS have released "Wounded Healer", a new standalone single issued through Nuclear Blast Records.
The song follows the band's recent single "Spotlight" and continues the period that began with the release of "Phantom :: Phoenix", further expanding the catalogue of the North Carolina progressive metal group.
According to information released by the band, "Wounded Healer" explores themes connected to personal struggle, transformation and survival.
The song combines melodic passages with heavier sections while continuing the stylistic approach that has characterized the band's recent material.
The release follows "Phantom :: Phoenix", which arrived in late 2025 and represented another step in the band's development following their earlier Nuclear Blast releases.
According to information released by the band, the album explored themes of rebirth, perseverance and self-discovery through songs including:
"I See Your Spirit"
"Corridor"
"Bury The Ashes"
The album also continued the group's blend of progressive metal, alternative metal and atmospheric songwriting.
Based in North Carolina, Stellar Circuits emerged as part of a new generation of progressive metal bands combining modern production, technical musicianship and melodic songwriting.
The band's Nuclear Blast debut "Sight To Sound" was released in 2023 and helped introduce the group to a broader international audience.
In recent years, Stellar Circuits have toured alongside artists including Chevelle and Arch Echo, expanding their presence within the progressive and alternative metal scenes.
Their live performances have become an important part of the band's growth while supporting the releases that have shaped their recent catalogue.
Through releases such as "Sight To Sound", "Phantom :: Phoenix", "Spotlight" and now "Wounded Healer", Stellar Circuits continue building a catalogue that reflects the evolution of modern progressive and alternative metal in the 2020s.
With "Wounded Healer", Stellar Circuits continue the creative period established by "Phantom :: Phoenix", adding another chapter to the band's recent output while further developing the sound introduced across their Nuclear Blast releases.
