The Irish alternative rock duo follow 2024's 'To Fall Asleep' with an eleven-song album featuring the singles 'Happening Again', 'On Time' and 'Bad Look'
HAVVK have announced their fourth studio album, "Time Will Kill", scheduled for release on June 19, 2026 via Veta Records.
The new record follows the duo's previous album, "To Fall Asleep", and will feature eleven tracks including the previously released singles "Happening Again", "On Time", and "Bad Look".
Comprised of Julie Hough and Matt Harris, HAVVK developed the album around themes related to time, personal priorities, and the challenge of balancing individual interests with wider social and political concerns.
According to the band, the songs were written while reflecting on the feeling that time is constantly limited, whether in everyday life, creative pursuits, or attempts to engage with issues taking place both locally and internationally.
According to HAVVK, "Time Will Kill" represents a different perspective from "To Fall Asleep", which explored anxiety, uncertainty, and disconnection.
For the new album, the duo focused on questions surrounding time, responsibility, and personal agency, using those ideas as the foundation for the songwriting process.
Julie Hough explained that the album artwork was inspired by a photograph originally taken by Tim Shearwood. The image was later reworked through projection techniques and photographed again to create a fragmented visual effect intended to reflect the band's interpretation of time and memory.
Prior to the album's release, HAVVK introduced the project through three songs:
"Happening Again"
"On Time"
"Bad Look"
These tracks marked the first preview of the material that would later form "Time Will Kill".
