The Nashville symphonic power metal band previews its upcoming album 'Out Of Darkness', scheduled for release on September 18 through Eclipse Records
VALKYRIE'S FIRE have released a new single and music video for "Burning Sky", featuring guest vocals from Mikael Sehlin.
The track serves as the first single from the band's upcoming full-length album, "Out Of Darkness", which is scheduled for release on September 18, 2026 via Eclipse Records.
The accompanying video was produced by ProMotion LLC and was filmed at locations including Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary in Tennessee and woodland areas in Stockholm.
"Burning Sky" introduces listeners to the musical direction of "Out Of Darkness" while featuring a guest appearance by Mikael Sehlin.
The song combines the vocals of Bettie Floyd, Adam Sanders, and Sehlin, creating a multi-vocal arrangement that plays a central role throughout the track.
According to the information released by the band, the lyrics draw inspiration from historical and biblical themes.
Scheduled for release on September 18, 2026, "Out Of Darkness" will be the band's first full-length album following the release of the EP "Ascension" in 2024.
The album was produced and engineered by guitarist Joey Grimaldi.
Artwork for the release was created by Jan Yrlund, whose previous work includes releases for bands such as Battle Beast, Manowar, and Delain.
The album also includes the participation of Mikael Sehlin, who contributed guest vocals to "Burning Sky" and was involved in the mastering process.
According to the band's description of the material:
"Burning Sky" explores themes connected to endurance and resilience.
"Cascade" focuses on imagery associated with the transition from dusk into night.
"Evermore" draws inspiration from the work of Edgar Allan Poe, reinterpreting themes of loss and hope.

Based in Nashville, Valkyrie's Fire combines symphonic and power metal influences through dual lead vocals, orchestral arrangements, and traditional heavy metal instrumentation.
