Remastered version of the 1983 Night Ranger classic previews the band's upcoming Best Of compilation featuring career-spanning hits and 2026 remasters
NIGHT RANGER have released a newly remastered version of "(You Can Still) Rock In America", taken from the band's upcoming compilation album Best Of, scheduled for release on August 28, 2026 via Frontiers Music Srl.
The release arrives alongside an official visualizer and offers another preview of the forthcoming collection, which features newly remixed and remastered versions of songs spanning different periods of the band's recording career.
The newly remastered version of "(You Can Still) Rock In America" follows the announcement of Night Ranger's upcoming Best Of collection, scheduled for release on August 28, 2026. According to bassist and vocalist Jack Blades:
"The new 'Best Of' is a celebration of not only our classic hits but also what we've created over the last 20 years. And we're just gonna keep cranking it cause we're having too much fun to stop! So enjoy the ride and see ya on the road!"
Originally released in 1983 on the band's album Midnight Madness, "(You Can Still) Rock In America" became one of Night Ranger's best-known songs and remains a regular part of the group's live performances.
The upcoming compilation combines newly remastered versions of classic tracks such as "Don't Tell Me You Love Me", "Sister Christian", "When You Close Your Eyes", and "Four In The Morning" with selections from the band's later catalog, including "Time Of Our Lives", "High Road", "No Time To Lose", "Somehow Someway", and "Truth".
The collection also includes a newly recorded live-off-the-floor version of "Wasted Time" captured at Sweetwater Studios and a live performance of "Feliz Navidad".
