Katatonia Announce 10th Anniversary Vinyl Edition Of The Fall Of Hearts

KATATONIA have announced a special tenth anniversary edition of their 2016 studio album The Fall Of Hearts, scheduled for release on August 7 through Peaceville.

Originally released in 2016, The Fall Of Hearts marked a significant chapter in the Swedish band's discography and achieved chart success in several territories, including the United States, Sweden, Canada, the United Kingdom, Finland, Germany, and Australia.

The album followed an active touring period for the band and arrived after the releases of Dead End Kings (2012) and Dethroned And Uncrowned (2013), both of which reflected the group's continuing musical evolution during that period.

The Fall Of Hearts was the first Katatonia album to feature drummer Daniel "Mojjo" Moilanen. It also included guitarist Roger Öjersson, who had recently joined the band's lineup prior to the recording sessions.

The album artwork was created by longtime Katatonia collaborator Travis Smith.

The forthcoming anniversary edition will be presented as a limited double vinyl release on pearl dawn-colored vinyl and will include a gatefold sleeve.

Ten years after its original release, The Fall Of Hearts returns in a new vinyl edition that revisits one of the defining albums of Katatonia's 2010s catalog.
