Finnish symphonic metal band Amberian Dawn discuss their new album Temptation’s Gates, the arrival of vocalist Nicole Willerton, and the next chapter of the band with Rockum.
Amberian Dawn joined Gino Alache of RockumWeb.com and the Rockum Radio Show for an exclusive interview about the band’s new album Temptation’s Gates, released through Napalm Records, and the beginning of a new era for the Finnish symphonic metal group.
The conversation features Tuomas Seppälä and Nicole Willerton, focusing on the creative direction behind Temptation’s Gates, the transition into a new chapter of the band, and the way Amberian Dawn continues to build its identity through melodic metal, symphonic arrangements and powerful vocal lines.
Temptation’s Gates represents a significant moment in the history of Amberian Dawn, as it introduces Nicole Willerton as the band’s new vocalist. In the interview, she discusses joining the group, approaching the material, and becoming part of a sound already known for its combination of speed, melody, keyboard-driven arrangements and European symphonic metal tradition.
Tuomas Seppälä also talks about the songwriting and production process behind the album, explaining how the new material connects with the established Amberian Dawn sound while also opening space for a refreshed vocal presence and a new creative atmosphere.
The interview also covers the singles “Temptation’s Gates” and “The Vision of Dreaming”, the lyrical and musical character of the album, and the way the band balances classical influences, heavy metal energy and accessible melodic hooks.
For Rockum, the conversation documents an important transitional period for Amberian Dawn, a band that has built an international following through its symphonic metal sound and its long-running work under the direction of Tuomas Seppälä.
The exclusive interview is hosted by Gino Alache for RockumWeb.com and the Rockum Radio Show, broadcast from CFRC 101.9 FM in Ontario, Canada.
